The New Site

So, this is a brand new site, as you can see - the rules of being courteous to all members still stands; something I probably don't have to say. The set up is new to me too so I will be learning as I go along, just like you, but I will try to help as and when I can with any advice caused by problems on the network. Please remember to back your work up at all times!

This site is all about the writing. Please respect each other or the bell shall ring and your round will be over! Post Review Evolve Together we can forge something great.

I just wanted to remind everyone to back-up their work as they post. Other sites have taught me this is an important thing to do!

The Right Side of Right

It’s a lame game, an insane train

Opera Of Lust

Young school girls
pass by like ghosts
of our first lay

in the back of abandoned houses

in upstate New York

just out of the reach of the street lamp’s glow

and nameless.

Their thighs

are soft confessions

of silent lust

but

their trust comes at a price

to know the debt

of losing

your name

in the game of chance.

To spend the night in rooming houses

where the air the

The Accusers

The accusers
accuse me of almost pathological timidity
and chronic indecisiveness
of having a fear of self-exposure amounting to dread
a fear of intimacy amounting to terror
They accuse me of every kind of cowardice
physical and moral
of creeping quietly from one shadow to another
of living by a self-defeating code
of being ruled
by an almost abject craving for cloud cover
They accuse me of inertia
of being easily discouraged

A smile in a frown

I’m unhappy ,but so proud.
My frown is sure to stand out
In a crowd.
My pain so profane.
And easy to see.
There’s always a little
Empathy in infamy .

I’m not shallow.
You must wallow in me.
my depth,
Is all there is of me.

I’m so true ,see my label.
I’ll give you a reminder whenever
I’m able .
My crown of rain.
Fits perfectly.
There’s always some new
Medication for me.

I’m not shallow.
You must wallow in… Continue

I think you should do weekly writing prompts. Kind of like contests but no real winner. It would keep me posting. What do you guys think?
